Junior QA Engineer

JSC Nexus is pleased to announce a vacancy for Junior QA Engineer.

We expect that you:

  • Have experience working on real projects for at least 1-1.5 years;
  • Understand a set of QA processes and methodologies (test plans, test designs, test cases, bug tracking systems, software life cycle);
  • Have knowledge of existing types of testing and can apply test design techniques in your work;
  • Have an understanding of the principles of client-server applications testing;
  • Undestand JSON, XML format data;
  • Can independently conduct a competitive analysis of product/task requirements;
  • Have basic skills with Postman;
  • Ready to communicate in English.

Great if you

  • Have experience in working with Scrum;
  • Have experience with cloud services;
  • Have basic skills with DevTools.

What will you do

  • Run testing of WEB services, API;
  • Work with technical documentation and analyzing business requirements;
  • Record found bugs to the bug tracking system and create test cases, test plans;
  • Participate in meetings with the team;
  • Create reports based on test results.

Additionally, candidates shall be checked in knowledge of different business-specific topics. Logical thinking and analysis skills shall also be assessed. The preferred location for this position is Tbilisi, Georgia, remote work is welcomed as well.
