Experience:

• Proven work experience as a manual tester or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

Testing Skills:

• Proficient in manual testing techniques, including test case creation, test execution, and defect reporting.
• Strong understanding of different testing types, such as functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Knowledge of test management tools for test case management and defect tracking.

Technical Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and mobile platforms (iOS, Android).
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web browsers.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

• Excellent analytical skills to identify defects and troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to think critically and logically to identify root causes and propose solutions.
• Attention to detail and ability to spot even minor defects or inconsistencies.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to document test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers.
