Markup Developer

Nexus – Job Requirements JSC Nexus is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Markup Developer with some React experience.

JSC Nexus currently has its headquarters in Tbilisi, Georgia.

What you will be doing:
The selected candidate will be working on the user facing features of a web application together with a senior react.js developer.

• Building reusable JSX components
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality responsive layouts / user journeys
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

The task ahead is varied, interesting and challenging. You will work in a startup environment. You will have the chance to work with a growing international team. Job Requirements:

• Excellent understanding of web markup HTML5 and CSS3
• Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Strong knowledge of web standards
• Basic understanding of React.js
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Experience building complex responsive layouts
• Fair understanding of JavaScript programming and DOM manipulation
• Eye for detail and curiosity to dig deeper
• Solid with Git workflows
• English – reading/writing for issue tracking and documentation purposes
• Interest to progress as front end engineer under the guidance of senior react.js developers
