JSC Nexus is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Senior Nest.JS/Node.JS Developer/Team Lead

What you will be doing:
The selected candidate will be responsible for guiding the team development efforts towards successful project delivery. The task ahead is varied, interesting and challenging. You will work in a startup environment. You will have the chance to work with a growing international team. There is plenty of room for creativity and your own ideas. We offer a dynamic working environment remotely, or in the office, if you’re nearby at headquarters in Tbilisi, Georgia. Requirements:

5+ years of proven experience in development.
1+ years of experience team-leading specific project
Advanced experience with JavaScript / ES7+ / TypeScript.
Experience with Node.js and Nest.js
Experience with various Data Storages (RDBMS, NoSQL, file storages, Elastic, etc)
Experience integrating with different systems (REST API, GraphQL, Kafka, etc)
Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines, containerizing and orchestrating web applications
Experience with testing (e2e, unit testing, functional)
Experience in evaluating hard and soft skills of engineers, building effective teams
Knowledge of design patterns and architectural patterns (like client-server, microservices, serverless, message queues, and others)
Experience in designing and supporting the architecture of web applications.
Good English (speaking and reading/writing)

Would be a plus:

Experience with AWS cloud platform

Responsibilities:

Technical leadership
Collaborating with the team and delegating tasks to the appropriate team members
Taking responsibility for development and maintenance for the entire back end and reporting to senior management
Setting up engineering practices and processes and supporting engineers with development activities
Monitoring team performance to ensure project goals are met
